The achievement What did it cost? is a reference to the avengers movie Endgame scene where a child Gamora said in Thanos' mind "What did it cost?".


The Monstermon cards actually resemble the colours of the infinity stones, Sadly there is no orange, unless The creator add Secret orange cards to complete the Infinity cards.Kindergarten 2 Secret Ending True Ending (after collecting all monstermon cards) The people that are "bad" (Ex: The female Principal, Felix, and The Janitor) suffer a gruesome death, as they were hit with lightning.The people that get "snapped" away are considered "Good" (for example, Bob, Ted, and Lily) and do not pass away a violent death.Although all the characters die, there is a difference in the way they die, possibly due to their characteristics.(Hence why the achievement name is "What did it cost?", which is a line said after the snap.) Near the end, the thunder from Kindergarten's other Monstermon Card ending returns, and kills the rest of the children/adults. The first snap was a reference to the infamous "Thanos Snap".Based on how all Monstermon Cards are required to be collected for this ending, it may reference the controversy the Pokemon franchise had one time in the early days of the franchise where the controversy is that "Pokemon were being satanic.", though it is more likely referencing this and the controversy of some people believing that Yu-Gi-Oh! was satanic, due to some Monstermon cards (such as Blue Eyes Gold Dragon) being direct references to Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, as well as Monstermon cards having an identical layout to Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.

This references the true ending of Kindergarten 1, where the Principal was killed by the pill-making aliens.

Then, the Protagonist leaves and Nugget thanks the player for playing Kindergarten 2, just like the secret ending in Kindergarten 1.
